Posable plushy brand activation

The Event

AdoptAFonk brought their lovable posable plushies — creatures from the dark side of the moon — to a loft in Union Square, NYC. We turned the Fonks themselves into game controllers, strapping a light onto each one so players could physically move their plushie to catch sparks on screen. The result was an intimate, high-energy multiplayer experience with a live leaderboard keeping the competition fierce.

The physical product became the interface — giving attendees a reason to pick up a Fonk, fall in love with it, and take one home.

The Asset Flip

FonkFinder started as LightSlicer — our light-controlled fruit-splitting arcade game. Using our in-house asset-flipper tool, we remixed it into something entirely new for AdoptAFonk:

Inverted gravity: sparks spawn in the center, players must keep them from falling
All-new art, music, and sound effects in the Fonk universe
Custom physics tuned for the Fonk character's movement style
